”So now wrap your heart tightly around the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love. This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.“
This is such a beautiful encouragement to stay steadfast in our belief that God is who He says He is and He will do what He said He will do. We may be walking through tough circumstances, and if we’re not or when we’re not, we have brothers and sisters in Christ who are, and we need each other. We were made for community, and we are instructed in Galatians to bear one another’s burdens. I think in the last 4-5 years, we have woken up and realized how important community is -- because the government worked so hard to take it away. Let this be an encouragement to you -- if you are going through something tough, don’t isolate yourself. If you know you have a brother or sister who is walking through hardship, make a point to be there for them -- in person when possible. So that we can help one another and see one another become victorious and live victorious lives that bless others. It makes a huge difference.
