”We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!“
Last night I was thinking about Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. And I was wondering what it looks like to truly acknowledge God in everything I do, to yield to God in everything I do... and as I read this passage, Ephesians 2:10 this morning it was like Holy Spirit said - this is it! This is what it looks like. It looks like our lives being the poetry of God -- moving forward steadily and unwaveringly in the good works He planned for us in advance. Our destiny being fulfilled is dependent on yielding to His Spirit, following His promptings and voice and doing what He calls us to do.
